ACTIVE MISSIONARIES

Jesus sets the example for us in what it means to be on mission. He came into our world, spoke our language and lived among us and He has called us to do the same. Jesus gave us the great Co-Mission because it's really His mission to reach the world. It's pretty cool (and humbling) that He asks us to join Him.  We count it a joy and honor to partner with families who are putting Christ's love into action all over the world.

Ray and Candace Ward

THAILAND // BURMA
The Outpour Movement was founded in 2006 by Ray and Candace Ward.  The Outpour Movement exists to transform, disciple, train, and empower the youth and young adults of oppressed people groups who transcend the Thai and Burma border.  Outpour looks forward to building longterm relationships in these areas with the help of supporters and teams that come along side of them in the work. They are working to establish projects in each of the villages that they’ve been visiting – building shelters to hold teaching sessions and church services, assisting with medical projects along with growing gardens, building playgrounds etc.  God has already done so much through this ministry and we believe there is so much more that He wants to do!

Adam and Aimee Wallis

CHIANG MAI, THAILAND
Aimee and Adam work for a local NGO (non-governmental organization) in Thailand that does outreach to Burmese refugees and IDPs focusing on relief and development work, while bringing the love and hope of Christ to refugees and IDPs.

Aimee is developing an English program for staff, students, and local children involved in the ministry, doing some administrative work, and helping at relief team trainings in the field. She also helps facilitate morning devotions, puts on outreach events, and hopes to develop relationships with women in the red light district as a part of future ministry. Adam has resumed his role as Training Coordinator for ethnic relief team trainings facilitated in the jungle, which support displaced people groups in Burma. He also teaches several training subjects and helps in logistics and supply roles in the field.

Hazael and Nancy Garcia

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA
Over the past 3.5 years, Chi Alpha Korea has connected with a few hundred students through various forms of outreach, seen 25 people make a commitment to Jesus as Lord, led several students in yielding to the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and developed a leadership team of disciples making disciples on 4 university campuses in 3 different cities. God has given us friends from 3 of the 4 unreached people groups represented in Korea: North Korean refugees, Japanese, and Mongolians, and He has given us opportunities to participate in the continued development of Chi Alpha across Asia Pacific, including in the Philippines, Cambodia, Taiwan, Fiji, and Mongolia.

Ben and Dorine Linn

DUBLIN, IRELAND
The Linn family’s journey toward becoming international workers began during the summer of 2014, when Ben and Dorine were visiting Dublin.  During this time, their eyes were opened to the practical and spiritual needs of the people.  After months of following up and praying, they were able to connect with Amoveo Group and have a conversation about launching a new site in Dublin, Ireland.  Amoveo Ireland’s mission is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ while building relationships with individuals, partnering with organizations for service and outreach, and facilitating short-term teams in Dublin City.

Shane and Marianna Daniels

SZOLNOK, HUNGARY
Originally from San Jose, Shane started going to Hungary with Calvary Chapel San Jose in the summer of 2002.  For the next 4 years he lead a team back to Hungary for summer camps, and then moved to Eger in 2006 to help with worship at a church plant. He met his wife Marianna in 2007, and they got married in 2008. They moved to Szolnok to start a church in 2010 and shortly after their daughter Emily was born.  And just this last January, they welcomed their son, Benjamin into the world!  Their ministry focus has been to boldly share the Gospel (99% are non-believers in the area!), offer solid Bible teaching and continuing to build bridges between the churches in the community. The best way to keep in touch with the Daniels family is through Facebook but email works as well (shane.e.daniels@gmail.com).  If you'd like to financially support them, you can do it through Calvary Chapel San Jose or through a PayPal account (just search for his email)

Renan Mangonon

LUCENA, PHILIPPINES
Renan, a former altar boy, accepted the Lord in 1985 through a High School Bible Study about the rapture.  Renan and Anna are both Filipino natives who then started attending Calvary Chapel Manila in 1988 under the verse-by-verse teaching of Pastor Roger Scalice.  There he met his wife, Anna who served as an usher/Sunday School teacher while Renan also served in the Sunday School.  Renan later became a deacon, elder and worship leader.

After 13 years in the IT industry, Renan knew that God called them to be missionaries.  He and his family moved in August 2003 to San Miguel Island in Bicol to assist Pastor David Matthews in the ministry.  Renan served as an Assistant Pastor and Worship Leader in two planted churches and spent much of his time leading home bible studies, helping in Children's Ministry and assisting in the annual kids/youth camps.

Renan is currently serving as the Lead Pastor of Calvary Lucena Christian Fellowship, a non-profit religious organization working among the city and nearby Barangays in Lucena City, Quezon Province.  We are commissioned as a body in promoting the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ for the past 9 years and is continuously reaching the community through weekly Bible studies, prayer, evangelism, medical, and children/youth outreach programs.

Rey Macadandang

PANIQUI, PHILIPPINES
Rey is the Lead Pastor at Calvary Chapel Paniqui.  They currently host a regular home bible study every Wednesday, prayer meetings every Friday, Saturday afternoon youth gatherings and two Sunday morning services!   CC Paniqui is super involved in their community with medical outreaches and men's basketball fellowships each month!
